Performing real estate transactions of any kind, especially acquisitions and disposals, the reliable validation of environmental risks is of growing importance for the success of the project. Aside the economical evaluation, this is essential especially on production sites, because here environmental risks can lead to enormous economical hazards.

Environmental evaluations of sites as part of Environmental Due Dilligence audits are usually performed by means of the Environmental Site Assessment (ESA), consisting of Phase I-Examinations (without analysing of samples) and, if necessary, Phase II – examinations (with analysing of samples). wahmhoff consult complements the ESA with Ad-Hoc-Reports and Grid-Scans.

Wahmhoff consult comes with an experience of 20 years in environmental engineering and evaluation of environmental risks on real estate sites. This encloses he examination of contaminated construction materials of any kind, as asbestos, PCB, wood preservatives ec. and contaminations in soil and ground water. For international clients, the examinations for the Environmental Site Assessment are proceeded and reported in dependence on the specifications of the American Society for Testing and Materials, ASTM E 1527-05.
